People for Tree Campaign

The People for Tree Campaign (PFTC) is an initiative launched on World environment day, Mon, 5 Jun, 2023, to promote tree planting and raise awareness about the critical role of trees in sustaining life on Earth. This campaign is part of the JDF Green India Project, organized in association with the Center for Climate Change & Environment Protection (CCCEP) and the Center for Agriculture & Rural Development (CARD). The campaign aims to plant and protect 10,000 trees while advocating for sustainable forestry, environmental education, and community involvement. It begins in Bihar and plans to expand nationwide.

Why Trees Matter
