The Life Education Development Program (LEDP) is a flagship initiative of the Jeevan Darshan Foundation (JDF). It was launched on April 12, 2022, in collaboration with the Center for Life Education & Spirituality (CLES) and in association with the School of Inner Education (SIE) and the School of Self-Observation (SOS).
This program aims to provide life-centric education—a type of learning that addresses the fundamental aspects of living a meaningful and harmonious life.
Why LEDP Was Created
In today’s world, traditional education often focuses on creating individuals who function like machines—full of information but lacking understanding about life itself. This "anti-life" education has resulted in chaos, unhappiness, overconsumption, inequality, and disharmony with nature and existence.
Key issues caused by this outdated education system include:
- Environmental Degradation: The overconsumption of resources and destruction of the natural world.
- Social Imbalance: The stark contrast between those who suffer from hunger and those who struggle with obesity, highlighting the need for greater social equality.
- Lack of Understanding and Purpose: The widespread confusion and disconnection from what truly brings joy, fulfillment, and meaning to life.
- Materialism and Consumerism: A society driven by artificial desires and fueled by the relentless pursuit of material possessions and consumer goods.
The LEDP addresses these challenges by helping individuals reconnect with themselves, their purpose, and life in its true essence.

The LEDP offers programs of different durations based on the level of interest and commitment from participants:
- 3-Day Program: Introduction to Life Education: A foundational program that introduces participants to the principles of life education.
- 7-Day Program: Exploring Life Education: A more in-depth program that delves deeper into the principles of life education, providing a richer understanding of the subject.
- 21-Day Program: Immersive Transformation: An immersive program designed for individuals seeking a profound transformation in their lives, providing a comprehensive understanding of life education.
- 90-Day Program: Advanced Transformation: An advanced program for individuals deeply committed to transformation, offering a comprehensive and in-depth exploration of life education and its application in daily life.
Who Can Join LEDP?
The program is currently delivered through:
- Educational Institutions: Schools, colleges, and universities that offer educational programs.
- Workshops and Events: Workshops and events specifically designed for students, young professionals, and individuals seeking personal growth.
We are also working on an online and self-paced version of the program to make it accessible to a larger audience. However, as of now, LEDP is conducted entirely offline.
