Campus Happiness Program

The JDF Campus Happiness Program is designed to help students cultivate a genuine sense of happiness from within, gain clarity in life, and reduce campus suicides. In response to the increasing number of student suicides in Indian colleges, including IITs and IIMs, this initiative aims to inspire joy, inner peace, and mental well-being.

Why Campus Happiness Matters

Many people search for happiness in the outer world, but true happiness lies within. This program focuses on self-discovery, self-knowing, and self-observation, encouraging students to build a strong foundation for inner contentment.

Program Overview: The ā€˜3S’ Approach

The Campus Happiness Program is grounded in the '3S' model.

  1. Self-Knowing: Understanding your values, strengths, and beliefs.
  2. Self-Discovery: Exploring your unique identity and purpose.
  3. Self-Observation: Observing your thoughts and emotions without judgment.

Through experiential learning and community-based activities, participants explore key questions about human existence, suffering, and true happiness. This process helps them gain self-awareness, clarity, and a sense of purpose.

Benefits of the Campus Happiness Program

  • Enhanced Self-Awareness: Understand yourself more deeply.
  • Clarity and Purpose: Find direction and meaning in your life.
  • Inner Peace: Cultivate happiness from within, reducing reliance on external factors.
  • Supportive Community: Connect with like-minded peers for shared learning.
