The Mental Wellness Program (MWP) was launched by JDF in response to the growing global mental health crisis, including rising cases of depression, anxiety, and suicidal tendencies.

This program aims to provide individuals help in self-knowing, mental detoxification, and a deeper connection with nature, fostering a life of clarity and well-being.

The program’s approach is rooted in providing a space for introspection, healing, and self-knowing, promoting clarity and peace in participants' lives.

Who Is It For?

MWP is designed for individuals seeking to overcome:

  • Depression and feelings of frustration.
  • Anxiety and stress due to personal or professional challenges.
  • A lack of direction or clarity in life.

Our past data shows that this program has been particularly beneficial for young adults, students, and corporate professionals.

Program Highlights

  • Nature-Based Retreats: Conducted in serene, natural settings like mountains, rivers, or forests, participants reconnect with existence and nature for holistic healing.
  • Small Group Sessions: Each session accommodates a maximum of 10 participants to ensure personal attention and meaningful interactions.
  • Flexible Duration: The program spans 7 days, with an option to reduce it to 3 days in special cases.
  • Tailored Experiences: Every session is uniquely designed by experienced facilitators to suit the specific needs of participants.

  • Twice a Year: Scheduled retreats are held twice annually.
  • On-Demand Sessions: Additional programs are organized based on expressed interest.
  • Participants are notified in advance about the dates and location of upcoming programs.
Urgent Support for Immediate Needs

For those in urgent need of mental health assistance, we provide free Mental Health Counseling throughout the year. This ensures no one has to face their struggles alone.

Why We Started This Program

The increasing prevalence of mental health issues is alarming:

  • Anxiety disorders are among the most common mental health challenges, affecting people of all ages.
  • Suicides account for nearly 800,000 deaths annually, with a significant impact on youth and working professionals.

Program Launch

The Mental Wellness Program was officially launched on October 10, 2022, on World Mental Health Day by JDF's Center for Mental Health & Wellness (CMHW) by our visionary founder Bikram Jha & Central Director of CMHW Sneha Jha.
