The Youth for Self Knowing Program (YSKP) is designed to help young individuals find true, lasting happiness within themselves—without depending on external achievements, material possessions, or societal validation.
The Program is collaboration between JDF Center for Life Education & Spirituality (CLES), School of Inner Education (SIE), and School of Self Observation (SSO), YSKP empowers youth to cultivate inner joy, clarity, and a sense of purpose amidst the complexities of modern life.
Why We Started YSKP:-
Youth today face intense pressures, distractions, and mental health challenges, including career stress, addiction, and feelings of inadequacy. Many young people search for happiness in external things—like status, possessions, or relationships—believing that they’ll feel complete once they attain them. However, this pursuit often leads to frustration, conflict, a lack of fulfillment and unhappiness .
In India, a country known for its youthful population, there is a growing need to address these challenges. The Youth for Self Knowing Program was developed to guide young people in exploring inner happiness and clarity, independent of the materialistic expectations often imposed by society.
This program encourages youth to break free from societal conditioning and realize that true joy lies within.
Program Structure: The 3S Model
YSKP follows a unique 3S Model:
Discover that happiness comes from within, not from external sources.
Gain direction and meaning in life.
Understand and resolve internal contradictions and confusion.
Learn in a peaceful, community-focused setting with like-minded peers.
Program Format & Locations
YSKP sessions are typically conducted in peaceful and nature-friendly locations, providing an ideal time for introspection and self-discovery and observation. However, we also conduct programs in cities and auditoriums where more youth can participate.
Currently, the program is facilitated & led by Bikram Jha, Founder of JDF, We also offers YSKP upon request for schools, colleges, and communities eager to host the program.
How to Get Involved
The Youth for Self Knowing Program is entirely funded by the Jeevan Darshan Foundation (JDF), ensuring that financial barriers don’t prevent anyone from accessing this Program.
We welcome donations, corporate support, and partnerships to expand our reach and impact.
