The School of Self Observation (SSO) is a community-led initiative by Jeevan Darshan Foundation (JDF). It is dedicated to helping individuals embark on a journey of self-awareness, wisdom, and genuine spirituality.
It creates a space for self-discovery through dialogues, workshops, and programs that encourage individuals to explore the deeper meaning of life and truth.
Our Mission:
To explore the fundamental causes of human suffering and facilitate absolute transformation within through self-observation, free from conventional beliefs, dogmas, or intellectual distractions.
What We Do:
Monthly Dialogues: Participate in thought-provoking discussions in both offline and online settings, with online sessions available on our YouTube channel.
Interactive Workshops and Q&A Sessions: Engage in immersive experiences designed to foster deeper self-inquiry and understanding.
Guest Engagement: Invite experts from diverse fields to share their insights and enrich the learning experience.
How We Do:
We majorly focus on the observing life as it is—free from philosophical beliefs or organized doctrines. There are no hierarchies here; no "guru and disciple" relationships. Everyone is a friend, walking the path of self-inquiry and awareness together.
As our founder Bikram Jha states:
To see is to awake. By observing facts as they are, one can free from the ‘I’ which is awakening to absolute transformation within.
Our Current Status and Vision:
Current Operations: SSO is currently based at the JDF Regional Branch in Darbhanga, Bihar, with a strong focus on online dialogues and workshops.
Future Vision: Our goal is to establish a permanent rural campus in Bihar, creating a hub for self-discovery and awareness, and our team is actively working towards making this vision a reality.
