JDF Social Entrepreneur Project
Launched on Social Enterprise Day (November 21, 2024), the JDF Social Entrepreneurship Project aims to address pressing societal challenges through innovative, purpose-driven solutions.
This initiative was created in collaboration with the Center for Social Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CSEI) and The School of Sustainability (SIE), spearheaded by Rishav Raj, the Central Director of CSEI.
Why We Started
The world is grappling with multiple crises, from poverty and inequality to environmental degradation and education gaps.
Traditional approaches have often fallen short in creating sustainable impact. Social entrepreneurship offers a powerful alternative by combining innovation, business strategies, and social responsibility to create meaningful and lasting change.

- Social Entrepreneurship Development Program: Empowering individuals with skills and tools to start and grow social enterprises.
- JDF Startup Accelerator Program: Providing financial support, mentorship, and resources to early-stage social ventures.
- JDF Social Entrepreneur Angel Network: Connecting changemakers with investors dedicated to creating positive societal impact.
- Promoting Social Entrepreneur Cells in Colleges: Inspiring youth to engage in impactful innovation through campus initiatives.
- JDF Social Entrepreneur Projects: Supporting real-world solutions addressing pressing issues such as education, healthcare, and sustainability.
- Mentorship Sessions: One-on-one guidance to help social entrepreneurs overcome challenges and scale their projects.
